Best sleeping arrangements for multiple dogs? (4 Dobermans!)

Also, why do the two littermates need to be kept apart?
They've always gotten their time together, however the each get one on one time with either myself or my husband for training or just playing. We didn't allow them to develop "littermate syndrome". Where they'd rather be with each other then with us kind of thing.

Joker is the type "let's play, come on chase me" kind of guy. Bart is more "I'm played enough, get out of my face." So by the body language, it's time for separate yard. It just works for us to avoid any potential issues.
