I got my monocular a couple of days ago, and I love it! It's not high quality or expensive, but it's changed my bird watching. I saw a new bird today. I can't find it in the book. Maybe it's a female in winter plumage. Looked like a sort of grosbeak but was all alone with some sparrows. The short focal distance is the best part of the monocular. I really like bird photos because they are still and can be examined in detail, but the monocular allows me to see the birds in action.






New neighbors would come to the 'poison ivy lady' for identification on a rash or a leaf! lol!
Seriously though, one doctor told me she's never seen such a bad case of poison ivy.
