I am fostering a beautiful black/tan male and looking for a home, preferably local so I could possibly visit occasionally.
This dog is an absolute gem with a heart of gold. Wants to play with every dog he sees.
His owner had abandoned him, he's underweight but otherwise healthy and craves...
I'm looking at Embrace now and I like what I see so far. I have to double back on Wagmo to look at the coverage again.
One of the biggest cons to Wagmo is you can't reach anyone by phone, only internet. That in itself is a strike against them.
Good advice about discounts with my own healthcare...
Has anyone here had any experience with Wagmo. So far they seem to have the best rates. My blue girl Savannah is two years old now and needs a buddy
so I'm adding an 8 week old Euro male next week. Double trouble.
If you don't use Wagmo I would welcome any feedback on other companies.
Thanks,
Jim G
Hi,
I'm looking for some input on elevated bowls. I've read somewhere they may contribute to GDV and also read
there is no data to support that statement. I already use a puzzle bowl since day one and I limit play and exercise
one hour before and after a meal. Just looking for some opinions on...
I built this for my 2 year old so she can coordinate and direct the neighborhood defense with dogs next door. She can see across four yards in either direction.
I've been doing some reading about the necessity of heartworm meds and read that among many side effects they can cause itching and gnawing on paws.
Savannah had this problem and I set out on a change in diet which as most know can take months or longer to figure out. Anyway, her last heartworm...
There are quite a few dog shoe reviews online so I'll spend some time with it and make the best choice I can.
She's going to have sensory overload in just a couple months. She's never been around race cars so it will all be very new for her.
Now I need to shop for goggles. I have license plates...
The whole dog shoe thing was really intended for one location, twice per year. July and September.
Camping is never a problem, no burrs at the elevations we camp at, just the lower elevations where I race.
At the tracks she won't spend much time on hot asphalt, during the day she will be in the...
I can't believe I'm asking but I'm considering getting my girl some shoes.
I race sports cars in the summer & fall and one of the tracks I go to is known to have cockleburs
in the off-pavement areas where I would likely take her to do her business. Also, that particular track at that time of...
I've read about Kennel Care, it's highly recommended, it's cheap and Amazon will deliver it.
I think I'll try a bag or two and see if she wants to eat it. Otherwise she really has fun tearing through the hay so that may be a fall back for her play area.
This spring/summer I will build out my back yard with special emphasis on a playground for
Savannah. It has two terraces that I will build out and I don't want grass.
Has anyone used cedar mulch? It's supposed to be non toxic and repells certain bugs.
My girl is 7 months old now and still...
"But you do not let them greet or play with other people and dogs, just you, this is proper socializing. Strangers and their dogs are neutral and everything good now is with you. If your dog is never allowed to go on there own to met strangers they won’t try to leave you because they are...
I have the same problem, my girl doesn't jump on me anymore when I give her clear signals to stay off and down but when we go to the dog park she runs around and wants to make friends with everyone there and she will jump vertically right next to someone and unless they do something to correct...
