There was a pretty good discussion about body condition in another thread. I will mention, here, that Annie really does embody the body condition I strive for with my 2 girls. Annie is absolutely beautiful, and you are doing a great job with her @MyBuddy . Not just with her body condition but you're really giving her a great life and exposure to lots of neat stuff like horses and golf carts! I am glad you were able to get her!

Awwww, thank you! ❤️. Yeah, she'll never be in a show, only because I'm not 'into it.' But she certainly is a great Farm Dog! She's great with the horses, loves being outside with us, is not afraid of any machinery or noise and loves running the property. I can't wait for the big combines to come out to harvest the cornfield behind us. If I'm here and don't miss it, I'm going to go out there and sit in my golf cart with her to watch and see how she does.

Years ago I sat on my horse, Cheyenne and did the same thing. I was out front on my property while the farmer was in the field across the road from me. He finally stopped and asked me if I wanted to pass, that he would wait and I said, no no, we're doing some training. 😁 Just want to see how she would react with that big monster coming toward her! She did well. Although her breeder farmed with combines too so she probably was a little bit more prepared than some horses.

I said that 5 months back then our summer turned into:
Edit to add: Thank you, my best bad influence, ever!

Yesterday was a fun day. We gathered 7 Dobermans at a small town dog park to show how they really aren't murderous killing machines and can in fact play very well with all kinds of dogs. They were 5 mo, 11mo, 13 mo, 19 mo, 2 yo, 4 yo and the mother of Katyusha at 7 yo. It was neat to see the matriarch role change from when Katyusha's mom was there and then when she left, and Katyusha took the role. The owner of the doodle said later that they were turning to leave and not enter the park but a guy with a pug was leaving and told them, "no, take her in, you'll have a good time!"
