Happy birthday handsome boy!I can't believe my beast is leaving the puppy porch! But here we are and we all survived !

Oh my, so many birthdays!!! Happiest of birthday's to such a handsome boy who came into your life right when you needed him 
I have tons! I just can't seem to find the time to resize them. Maybe now that garden season is slowing down I can get better about it??
He certainly did! I thought it might be a bit soon but he just moved right in my heart! He was GREAT at keeping me distracted or maybe focused? Not sure but jumping head first into the RR world was interesting, challenging and almost more than I could handle. Riley definitley made step up my game!
I wish the camera could do them justice! They have gold flecks in them that make his eyes sparkle, especially in the light.
I try to weigh and measure my dogs on their birthdays. I got as far as measuring but then we had a problem and I had to rescue hubby. He was cutting the grass when a belt broke which left him with no steering or brakes. He and the zero turn ended up in the pond! I drove the truck to him and pulled the mower out with the winch. That meant I didn't make it to the Vet to weigh Riley.
I did measure him though. He is 27.5 inches at the withers. His neck is 21.5 inches and it's HUGE! He is really filling out nicely. Running the hills has given him some nice muscle and he is a really handsome boy! Hopefully I'll get a weight on him tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

Yup! Just a bit pissed off. He really wanted to finish so he could relax a bit tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be perfect!
He definitely has a strong, thick neck. I guess you need it to hunt lions.

Magnificent boy! He's going to be HUGE when he's mature. Something about that calm, confident gaze brought Jazz straight back to my mind and I can tell that all your hard work is paying off! Yes! @jazzies mum I can see Jazz when I look at Riley. I think Riley looks like a red Jazz. Perhaps a bit bigger because he's male but they have the same look and head. I never noticed before Riely that Jazz has a Ridgeback head.
You're right he is already huge! I'm not sure what I'm going to end up with when he's fully mature. People find his size very intimidating and steer clear of us. I do think part of it is the gaze he gives people, especially if he dosen't know them. I see the sweet boy he is and others think he is sizing them up!
