Wondercide vs Cedarcide?

I've been doing some research since I've been seeing a lot of ads for Cedarcide lately. What I found is that Wondercide went out of business or someone else bought them out, but now they went back into business under the name Cedarcide. Does anyone know anything about that?
I just looked at both sites and Cedarcide is a bit more expensive but I've never heard of them until this year.

Good grief that is a lot of money for a tiny bag of cedar bits!

Have not bought any cedar in a while but going to venture a guess that $70.00 would buy enough boards to be able to plane them down for the sole reason of collecting the chips and you would get enough chips to fill a few large trash cans.

Note: Most planers with good quality and sharp blades are going to make larger chips and less dust. That same planer with a set of 'special' (blades that have been intentionally damaged to produce as rough of a 'cut' as possible) blades will produce much smaller and finer particles.

I did read somewhere that wondercide is alive and well. They relocated the headquarters and that caused some rumors of a sellout. I think that was about a year ago.
If you have a choice I think I would go with wondercide because I have a good history with them. But if you're feeling experimental cedarcide looks pretty similar.

As far as I know Wondercide (16yrs) and Cedarcide (20yrs) have been around many years. Cedarcide is owned by a few entities controlled by Dave Glassel. Also, looks like Stephanie Boone still owns Wondercide.

Thank you for this info Jan, I just bought some of the spray for myself & the dogs  This is a bad tick year so far....I have picked 2 off of Falcon....and that was in February & March! I don't use a topical tick repeller; so this spray will be nice!
