Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2025

I could not tell which dog this was yesterday between the nose smudges on the glass and the angle of the sun. I converted the photo to black and white since I could tell easier in the photo than I could in person.

The way she's been laying most of the day today. I'm sure the ceiling fan feels good on her tummy. Elroy is in the background too.

Is your deck white? I think in other pictures when I thought it was snow it probably was not. Cuz I thought that was snow at first!

Great photo of you and ANnie @MyBuddy  I thought that first photo on the deck was Elroy...Olive is adorable...
I meant to post the weights of these two when they went to the vet: Falcon 78 pounds at 18 months old, and Glory is 68 pounds. It seems that all of my pairs end up being 10 pounds apart....although I expect Falcon to fill out more, so he will probably end up being closer to 15 to 20 pounds more than Glory. I have noticed that vet scales remain 'close' to their weight, but many are off...not sure why that is.

What kind did you get?
How many?
You are prob on crumble feed right now, but I find pellets make much less of a mess.
They were unlabeled so I’m not a hundred percent sure, but the brown one I believe to be a chocolate Orpington and the other two could be sapphire gems or blue australorps. I also have some new bitties, three Easter egger mixes and one Easter egger and then a black naked neck who is honestly my favorite. “Tiny Tina” is so noisy and tons of personality.

Edited to add I have the older ones on an all flock crumble (only because I couldn’t find pellets) but I went to rural king and found a large bag of all flock pellets that they will eat once the other one is out.

Just about every night now my husband has been playing Fetch with Annie. After we all go out to the barn, bring the horses in them, feed them and tuck them in for the night, he grabs the lighted Chuck it ball and they go a few rounds. I always find it a little comical how Annie will sit out there when we're coming back to the house like, "Weeeeell, I'm waaaaiting!" (Caddyshack!) 😉 Eyes on Dad!

Would you say that Elroy and Olive and opposites of Della and Albert
In some ways yes and in others they're very similar. Della was the boss over Albert without a doubt and Olive is a little easier going about Elroy's antics.
