Crate pads or bedding or bare crate?

My Kuranda bed arrived and the vinyl is the wrong dimensions 😫 we have been trying to put it together and come to find out when we measured the vinyl it is completely off.
Called them and shipping out a smaller vinyl fabric.
Time to go to bed for the day!
 
Let us know how the Kuranda works out for you. It's super solid construction and Kaiser's is still like new despite all the abuse it takes LOL. I love that I can just rinse it off in the tub or outside in the yard.

Oh that was a quick turnaround! From Thursday's wrong fit to Saturday's arrival. I'm glad they were so accommodating. I mean they got it wrong but at least the delivery was fast. Did you have to send back the other one?

Yes, very happy it arrived so quickly. They’d win MD which helped the delivery. We are not too far.

I was so bummed as we couldn’t figure out why the bed was so hard to assemble haha. Then I measured the vinyl and it was completely off from what I ordered. Called and spoke to a live person and he said send me pics. He called me back and said your vinyl is totally wrong, sorry, sending you the correct one.

No we kept it all, it was only the vinyl part so I guess we will toss the wrong sized one.
 
How about making another frame out of PVC at the right size so you can somehow attach it to that?

She sleeps in her downstairs crate during the day which used to have a blanket and a bed.
I removed the blanket as I saw she had been eating it. Today she went to nap and maybe she was up for 30 minutes in her crate, because I was busy. She opened up her crate bed and I’m not sure if she ate the foam or not, I am going to give her some bread.

I guess she now has to nap without anything in her crate besides a safe chew, which has been in there since day one.

She will stay in her crate to nap no issue, but when she gets up she lets us know. I wait it out until she’s done fussing and then get her. My thing is though she needs to be able to be crated so we can run errands or whatever we need to do. She’s not usually an issue, but she clearly has been eating her linens and she doesn’t do that in her night time crate.

Am I wrong for keeping the crate bare?
