Congratulations; he looked great!
Well done! I am always surprised that a handler who has just met the dog can get them going well. I'm sure it's due to a lot of training on your part so congratulations!
Thank you! I really wasn’t sure what to expect since he’s never been shown by someone else, plus he still has very limited show experience. The handler said she was very pleased with him, so that made me happy! We have done a lot of training, but I think stuff like this has/needs to be learned from experience to.Exactly what I was going to say, especially since didn't grow up in the show atmosphere! Big congratulations!
I think they all have similarities, but are still distinct in one way or another from the other dogs. I didn’t notice any dogs that were so similar (face wise) to Remy that I might mistake it for him.To me Remy has a very distinct head. Everything the shape, his muzzle, even his crop. There’s a lot of Dobermans that I could take a double take and think it was my dog. Going to these shows do you see any dogs that look similar to remy? He’s a good looking dog!
He has matured so much! He is lovely, nicely balanced. He moves well. Congrats!
Thank you so much!Congratulations!!!
He looked really good out there! Go team Remy!

I know very little about the world of conformation showing but I am highly impressed watching him! And to see him do his thing with someone he met 30 minutes before was really cool! Congratulations and best of luck in the upcoming shows!
Thank you all!I think he looks great and did great! Congrats for getting out there and showing what he's got!![]()
Thank you! He still has some more maturing to do, but I think he is coming together nicely! I’m impatiently waiting for his top line to strengthen, everyone tells me it gets better with maturity.Wow he is maturing nicely! Congrats!!!!!
Yes, its bad. Our point schedule for our area is one of the higher ones so we seem to be really struggling this year. I think post COVID there was such a huge boom to get out there and show after everything was shut down and now that has dwindled. Its sad to hear that specialties didn't make majors for your area!Does it seem like the entries are lower this year compared to last in anyone else’s area?
Remy just did 4 shows and is entered in 6 more this month. If the entries were the same as last year, the majority of those shows should have been/be majors. The shows he just went to all ended up being 2 points for WD (possibly 1 for some ). The shows at the end of the month will all only be 1 point for WD. At this point it’s not a big deal because he doesn’t have any points, plus he’ll have a better chance at getting some, but eventually it may be difficult to find majors.
Just to add, 4 of the shows are Doberman specialties, 2 working group specialties, and 4 all breed shows. One of the upcoming Dobe specialties only has 3 class dogs entered…
It really sucks! I’m curious to see what the point schedule will be next year…Yes, its bad. Our point schedule for our area is one of the higher ones so we seem to be really struggling this year. Wow it must have gone way up this year for you guys! I could have sworn a year or two ago you only needed 10 girls for a 3. I know a friend that sent her male with a handler to those shows and finished in one weekend lol. I'm guessing that's why it is so high from others entering where the point schedule is the lowest. In SC 9 dogs/ 16 bitches are needed for a 3 point major
I can’t remember what it was previously, but it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s why it went up! NC only needs 7 dogs/11 bitches for a 3 point major, so after this I’ll probably only show him in that division lol. I think one of the shows in NC had 7 dogs entered, but 2 or 3 were absent.Wow it must have gone way up this year for you guys! I could have sworn a year or two ago you only needed 10 girls for a 3.
