I'm thinking the white stripe was some kind of trauma or damage to the nail bed and likely why that nail came clean off with no fuss.I really hope my being lax in her weekly nail grinding isn't what caused this

Love paws crossed. Yes, shadows are sharper in low humidity environments.Only when you live where the humidity is absent do you understand what the sunlight can do. Humidity was 8% today. Not sure what it was when I took this photo a few days ago, but there is such clarity to the shadow it's almost like another photo. Moisture in the air tones down or blurs the sharpness. You photographers probably know this already, but I was astonished at the shadow sharpness here! View attachment 145681View attachment 145682

See those bright, shiny, "clean" spots on the runner? Those were blood spots, yesterday![]()
Does he deliberately flip his calming bed upside down for his pillow? Clever boy if so!As winter withers away, he has his new favorite.View attachment 145713
Just in one room, I see 3 beds to choose from. Spoiled boy!!As winter withers away, he has his new favorite.View attachment 145713
Oh Ruby!So ... Dingo went into her crate with her foot bandage last night and came out without it this morning. Cost of bandage: $78. Cost of vet visit to recover it (puke session): $214. Cost of her comfort: priceless.

He is a sharp looking DobermanAnother day having fun at the park playing tug of war (and looking handsome as heck).
Had some creepy guys keep standing and staring behind us, making some shady comments; so I had Draco bark and lunge at them on command, you best believe they were gone in a matter of seconds lol, no one's messing with us.
I live in a dangerous neighborhood, so that's why I taught him the command in the first place, just to scare shady people away.

I think that’s a Flemish Giant! And then we came upon this rabbit! OMG! So soft and so gentle. Just laid in its owner's arms and let everyone pet it. I actually forgot the name of the breed but it's some kind of giant rabbit. They had another one in the house. I've seen pictures of these but never saw one in person.

Thank you so much! He's really goofy in person lol.He is a sharp looking Doberman
Glad you’re ok and of course you’d be with Draco! Awesome job you two
How did you teach that? My husband wants me to teach Pepper that also. I run in the woods a lot and alone, not anymore soonas for now Pepper and I hike in there. Although, Summer time is on its way and it brings all the weirdos out in the woods - which is annoying and not safe. I hate winter, but it’s nice when no one is in the woods.
unless you got food lol.
