caught in the rain

Yesterday I thought I had time for a quick hike up the mountain before the rain started. I thought wrong. One mile, 19 floors, ~ 52°F & light rain in 33 minutes. So grateful for the rain I didn't care. Asha didn't either - I think it must have to do with having a choice. Once we were up the hill and it started raining there was no house to rather be in, so she just went along like it was normal. Last two pictures when we got home, out on the front porch. White slobber in the last photo because I'd just given her a handful of kibble. We were soaked!

Guess you both are made of sterner stuff than Jazz and I! We both hate being caught out and getting soaked! :sour:

Love the pics and that last one needs a place on the wall!

I think it was mostly because it was in the forecast, so I knew it was coming (not really a surprise in other words) and also we are in such need of rain it made me happy. No way I could curse it for happening, just myself for hedging my bet that I could beat it. LOL, I don't think I would ever frame a selfie, but you're right, this one really spoke of the love I have for my dog and it was good for my heart to get to see it.

That is a nice memory to have! They are up for anything in any weather as long they have their bestie with them.
I agree! Kali doesn't seem to mind the rain unless I open the door and it's pouring! But if I'm out with her, no problem! Yesterday it was raining all day and I had to call her in or she would have stayed .

and also we are in such need of rain it made me happy.
Been there!! In the summer when we are dying for moisture, I always say if it starts raining, I'm going out and dance 💃 in it!!
