Birthday Trip

I figured I’d make my own thread so I don’t clog up the daily thread with a million pictures lol. For the past few years I’ve been going away to hike for my birthday. Unfortunately it rained nearly the whole time we were there and the trails were too slick with mud and wet rocks to hike. We still had a nice time hanging out in the cabin!

View from the screened porch and yard. (Same place we stayed last year). This was when we got there and it was the clearest view of the trip.

I wanted to get some stacked pictures of him by the lake.
They aren’t perfect but I’m trying to just enjoy the pictures and not be too critical Spent most of our time just lounging around and relaxing.
Took a drive to see this waterfall. It’s just a short walk to see it but there are trails within the park too. It was raining pretty hard when we got there and water was flowing down the sidewalk like it was a stream lol.

Remy wasn’t thrilled
Stopped at another park quick to check it out.He loves hanging out on the porch.The dock we can see from the cabin.We stayed at the one on the right.
Of course we had to watch Westminster!
I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and came back to find Remy on the couch lol. A few pictures I took with my camera when we first got there.WeeeeeOne last picture before we headed home. Of course the rain stopped that morning lol

Stinks about the rain but a weekend away for your birthday with your best boy still looks like it was fun Can't beat a cabin in the woods with a great view!
