I had just let these guys out, turned my back to them for a second, turned back around and Rubie is FLAT on her side in the yard. I'm like... Rubie?... Ruuuubie??!... RUBIE?!?!? and then her head popped up! Can we not look dead in the middle of the yard, please?
This was after I disturbed her. Both of them basking in 90 degree sun.

Oh I know, I hate when they do that....
It's a small town but we have a library to be proud of with the sculpture and flowers out in front of it. I got her to sit nice while on our evening walk tonight.
I was wondering if this was just my doberman, her parents, and sisters behaving as such. Now I know: I'm not the only one seeing this from one small doberman sample. It's a doberman thing! The sister from the second litter is trained to lay down on her chest with her head up with a "wait" command. But she goes full dead doberman if you tell her to "wait forever". It's really cute.

Watching the movie “Splice” on Netflix. Kaiser was very interested in the scenes when the creature was a baby, it seemed part cat…great movie too!
