Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2023

Is he there for a reason or is it just like a maintenance thing that you're doing?
He got hurt somehow at some point and it was affecting his conformation and growth. The chiropractor said it's actually not uncommon for puppies to get hurt just being puppies and that its good for them to be adjusted on a schedule while they grow to make sure everything is loose and limber. We had to come back anyways to check how things were going and a lot of times they fall back to how they were due to muscle memory.

It came on out of nowhere and fast so we knew something wasn't right because he didn't look like this at all at his earlier stacks. On the first visit his back had multiple vertebrae that were tied up and not moving at all, along with a sticky hip and ribs.

Here he was around Christmas when we decided to make an appt with the Chiro. Click:

and a few weeks later after one adjustment and lots of stretches.

On his revisit his back was great!! 😁 Ribs were tight, she said she could tell he has definitely grown because they are longer. Still working on the hips, and his knees are a little tight so it makes him toe in slightly so we got sent home with some hip flexor exercises to do on the fitbone until he gets adjusted again in another 4 weeks. Thoroughly pleased with the service and I'm super glad he is looking and feeling better every time!

Wow, what a difference that made!

He's a little behind since I had to push his appointments back a couple times to get Phoebe in instead. Now his appointment is this coming Monday.
Do you have to restart the series then since it's been longer than 3-4 weeks between boosters?

I don't think it's been that long and they figured out his appointment this time so it would be within the time frame.

Oh ok. I know we had Revel's scheduled out 4 weeks from his first shots at the breeder and that seemed like a week or two before Elroy was able to get his with Phoebe understandably needing his appt. They were saying if Revel didn't receive his final parvo distemper shots by 16 weeks they would have to do a fourth booster. I was like, "well, good thing he's 14 weeks then" lol. Then his rabies was another 3 weeks separate from that.

I think the laws vary from state to state too?
