Skynyrd at vet getting stitches

I don't think it was pus. But I'm not going to go back and look because I'm eating right now. LOL she didn't really act like it hurt her. I never saw her trying to rub it or anything. But it was pretty traumatic for me.

So back to your pupper... How's he doing today?

I read that whole thread. You sounded like I do! Lol. Skynyrd is much better today. He is not limping nearly as bad. Has been wanting to play. Some reddish discharge is coming from the wound but the vet said that would happen.

I feel bad bc I'm about to sneak out of the house to go running without him. I had just gotten him acclimated to running the same milage in the heat after his last "incident". Now he's gonna have to wait a couple weeks again. I couldn't believe how much he lost in those weeks. It took awhile for him to work back up. Hopefully it will start to cool off a little (80's?) by then and it won't be so hard. It's funny bc I usually see the same few people out there and they will ask me "where is your buddy?"

I don't doubt it. I think it's the same with us. If we don't keep up our activities or exercise we lose it too. I always hate going out without my dogs too. I hate those sad faces. And if I could sneak out like you want to do, I would do it too! LOL

Well it's a good thing I didn't have Skynyrd with me on my run today. I ran into a coyote!! It was only about 50 ft away from me. It didn't run away either. It just looked at me and then kept sniffing around in the tall grass. I didnt take my camelback so I didn't have my phone with me to take a picture
