Well haven't been on Doberman-chat as much. Lots of things going on since beginning of August. We got one of our puppies back from our 1 and only litter, who is now 6yrs old! WTH!!!!!!!!!!!
Long story and can't tell you all of it because of an NDA. All I can say it was a FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! getting him back. After all we WON!
We sold him to a couple in Alabama, and he ended up running loose on some back roads in Maryland. The couple who we sold him to under contract which they breached. When we got him back, he was under-weight by 10#, which he has mostly gained back. Had some hair loss on his back legs maybe from flea biting. Some warn down teeth and some cracked, Also, heartworm positive.
He was like a 6yr old puppy. They didn't teach him a lot! But he is an awesome Dobe. Nothing scares him, no food guarding, wants to be petted a lot. He is settling in. He hasn't met Zara or Arson yet. Trying to keep him calm because of the heartworm.
Sometimes you just have to HATE people.
