Edit
I just read up on it on chewy.com and they said to throw it away if a peace bigger than a grain of rice comes off. So this is not something to actually be consumed. That's what I was wondering. It's kind of a chew type thing, but not to actually be eaten. Made of nylon?

Mine just chew on them. They don’t try to ingest them, they save that for rocks and paper towels.

The chewing / gnawing soothes them, then when they are done chewing on them I just put them away. They have the large ones and both of them are aggressive chewers so this has really worked for them. They chew a kong to pieces within a day or two or most any other toy. Out of everything I have tried this works the best and their teeth are nice and clean.
As with any chew toy they should be supervised while chewing it.
Most caution labels and warnings are to cover the ass of the company that makes it so it doesn’t get sued for JQP using it in a way that is not intended.
Sort of like the warning on the heat guns that look like a hair dryer. DO NOT USE ON YOUR HAIR. The temps on those get to 1000+ degrees. So there are always stupid people that will do something foolish, then sue the company.
Can you imagine all the lawyers for these companies that have to sit and think up ways people can harm themselves from misuse of the product so they can sue the company. They have to list all the warnings on the label.
There should be a Tort Reform that excludes stupid people from suing for damages in frivolous lawsuits. Like the lady that sued McDonalds over the coffee burning her. Hmm... seems to me unless you specify ice coffee then one could be assured that coffee is HOT and caution should be used. These are the people I identify as stupid.
I am quite sure I haven’t insulted anyone on this forum in that statement since “as a rule” stupid people do not successfully raise and own Dobermans.
