:shock:Now I’ve found baby teeth before but my word I’ve never seen one this big!! She will be 13 weeks tomorrow and I thought the tooth loss didn’t start for another month or so. Shows what I know!

Beautiful girl she is. I have a question also do their ears grow after cropping. My vet said they will but often I read they grow into them. Here is my guys recent crop. At 12 weeks of age day 2.

It's been awhile since I've had a puppy but they look about the right size. Is the Tooth Fairy coming?

No, their ears do not grow after cropping them. We often say, 'they grow into their ears' because sometimes their ears seem bigger than their head! LOL But as the pup grows up, and their heads get bigger, everything evens out. So you may hear people say, they will grow into those ears!

Handsome boy! I can’t answer your question. I’ve always read they grow into them too. Are you going to learn to post his ears yourself? I joined a group on Facebook called Doberman Ear Taping “The Original”. Th

It’s kinda freaky looking so I sent a picture to my vet and she said perfectly normal. LOL! I know she regrets the day she gave me her phone number!:p

That does seem pretty early to me too but I guess they all vary. Are you going to save them? I always do since they're such great keepsakes years later.

I am confused though since it looks like it has roots and I didn't think puppy teeth did.

Just be sure to bleach them or put in an ant bed for the ants to clean out all the tissue if you plan on keeping them. Putting into a bottle just as they are will totally gag you when you open the container later on.

Has Izzy lost her front incisors yet? (the little razors in the front)

I've never seen a puppy tooth come out with roots like that.

Yes it freaked me out because I have never seen one like that! I sent the picture to my vet and she said perfectly normal. :wacky:

The incisors are usually the first ones to fall out. The root is absorbed and that's what makes the "cap" fall off.
Never saw a pre-molar or molar come out first or with the root.

Leave it to Izzy!! :( Vet said perfectly normal so I hope she’s right!

Wow thats crazy looking. I can’t even wrap my head around how that was even in her mouth! LOL My guy still has his two baby canines at 8mths old. They are wiggly but gosh he is holding onto them. Makes me worry.
