Well they have finally arrived!!

She said she would buy her back if we wanted. Our thoughts were why not ask family /friends first and see if we can still "keep her in the family."

Hopefully can get them together again when they're older.

-You did the right thing.. One pup at a time is enough of a handful and I'm home all day.. Two is a lot to chew! ha pun intended. Now you can focus and enjoy you pup so much more..Less is more. :) You know about posting just the tips with breathe right strips yes? Actually I have found the Wal-Mart brand has beter glue and needs no extra osto glue..but you need the Solvi to remove them ..they really stick! :)

We are still working on it. *sigh* lol I discovered that "grammy" would leave bits of food on the counter where Mila could get to it SO she could get it. I don't know how many times I've said, "then you're rewarding the bad behavior." :pullhair:

So yeah, I personally think that ensuring they can't get ANYTHING will teach them to stop. Mila has lessened her surfin, but if she can get that one lone thing we leave within reach on accident, she's like woohoo! Doing it more! And she's reached er . . . whatever height, but it's tall enough that most of our counter she can get to. I'm gonna have to remeasure and post in the puppy thread, lol.

Oh, and plowing them over? Oh yeah. We have Shih Tzus and Mila finds nothing funner than rolling them over, which is why she doesn't usually go out with them, haha. Or the other day she slammed into me just because and now I have a bruise on my knee and slight swelling. After spaying, and as she gets older (she's just over a year), it's calming as I train her not to (my mother is 77 and can't afford to be knocked into like that), she's better, but it was worse before.
Sounds like you are going to have to get that spray water bottle after your mom again.

I was told that if you put aluminum foil on furniture they stay off. I have it on my linen chairs in the formal living room and it’s worked so far (can’t say much about the molding on the pillar-but that a different issue). But maybe put some aluminum foil on the counters?? Easy enough to try.

If I'm reading the body parts correctly, looks like Zues is still getting pushed around by Zoey? How was it seeing them together again? I feel like it would be mixed emotions.

It was quite entertaining. He was chasing her around the whole time, almost in a show of, "haha I'm bigger now you can't do what you used to!:wacky:" Towards the end of the night she was the one that wouldn't stop though. Kept going and going and going..... It was a little hard seeing her but on the flip side I was thinking how hard it would have been raising both of them together. So I was glad how things played out and that we can still get them together!!

Zeus was a little whinny after she left and kept running around to the doors and windows looking out for her... was kinda sad :(

How cool that they were able to reunite!

Hoping after a few more times of getting together their energy level calms down and isn't at 100 mph the entire time they are together. :sonic:

Been quite some time since I posted an update but this one was worthy of one.

To make a long story short the "friend" we gave Zeus sister "Moxy" to stopped caring for her and watching after her. He even had the balls to drop her off to his pregnant ex-fiance whom is 8 months along. On top of all that a day after he dropped Moxy back off to the ex she gave birth to 9 puppies.:pullhair::down:. The ex was told by her landlord she had a week to get rid of the dogs or she would be evicted/fined. Needless to say this "friend" of mine in less than 5 months, went to jail/got out, got his fiance pregnant with their 2nd kid, leaves his fiance for an 18 yr old, stops caring not only for his kid(s) but dogs as well, moves back to the town where he originally got put in prison all to get back involved with drugs.

Now not only did I feel terrible for the Ex but I couldn't just allow Moxy to go to the pound. So I drove to Wisconsin (5ish hrs) to pick Moxy up this past weekend and bring her back HOME! Upon walking in the apartment to get her I was in utter disbelief!! I could see her entire spine, rib cage, hip bones. She had bald patches and rashes all over her body and some sort of fatty tissue or something on her one elbow (still need to get her into the vet). She was sooo malnourished she wasn't even producing milk for the puppies! I am at a loss of words... I have known this "friend" for well over 20 years.... just shocked!:furious::complain:.

Moxy did great on the ride back and seems to be a fitting right back in with Zeus and Pirate. Surprisingly she is not as much of a wild child as she was before...however I do think this may be due to the lack of energy. So only time will tell if her true colors come back out or maybe having a litter changed that around.

And for those of you wondering the puppies were born alive and healthy and have all already found their forever homes.

Wow, this is a lot...of everything! So many unexpected twists and turns. First off I am glad she is back in safe hands. Fingers crossed that she will fit in with your pack.

The puppies...she wasn't making milk and the dogs had to go within the week of being born? So did the pups go to their forever homes being just a week old?

Wow, what a story, also for the people involved.
