Naughty puppy thread - post your pics

We need a nuaghty hubby thread. I left the dogs in Hubby's care last night. That won't happen again.
The warming temps after an ice storm equals wiping feet before letting the dogs in. Grrr....
I was excited to see that you had a post in this thread only to realize it's hubby not puppy but for us here 'close enough' to count. Hahaha

You should have seen the carpet. Muddy footprints everywhere. :tap::complain:

Actually Rumor is doing pretty well. I'm exhausted from keeping one eye open all the time but she is a good girl. That said, I would bet she will never roam the house while we are gone. She goes from one no no to the next at lightening speed. :timebomb:

That is why I bought a steam cleaner. Now I don't have any carpet but I do have area rugs rolled up as Bogie has decided he needs to mark them. We are going round and round over this so while inside he only has access to living room while he is tethered to me! He doesn't mark in the bedroom or anywhere else only the LR.:machinegun:

Guesssssss who got out of the house yesterday? Yup. One of the few times she had her leash off lately. I was carrying a huge armful of recycling and went out the door to the garage. Normally I don't have a problem w Mila stopping at doorways. She waits until I say whether she can walk through. Well, she was excited because my brother had just went out the door and opened the garage door and I dropped my guard. She slipped through beside me, took off out front, and had herself a party! My brother kept calling her to come (he sounded more panicked than I was), then kept working on his truck. Telling her she was good, JUST for getting near him, not bothering to grab her. :furious: So as far as Mila was concerned, she fulfilled her duty, then proceeded to running around his vehicle agaaaaain.

I have one too. I won't be breaking that thing out till it's dries out a bit. I let the the paw prints dry and just vacuumed them up, that will have to do for now.

Now I don't have any carpet

One room is all we have. Why? cause hubby likes carpet and he wanted it. If he doesn't learn how to wipe some muddy paws it won't last long.

We put long carpet runners all the way through the garage and basement so by the time they hit the real carpet most of the mud is gone. I was able to get the big industrial ones from work for free because the company that supplies them has to toss them if there's so much as one fiber out of place.

Same here. I got a lot of work in our living room to do. A certain nameless stinker little girl had accidents while potty training, then our male Shih Tzus marked the room because of it. I shake my head at them boys. Hand scrubbing only goes so far and like @NikiL02 I HATE hand scrubbing. Carpet or anything, doesn't matter. So come Spring it's time to steam clean!

When we got our first home many years ago, it had lots of carpeting. I was VERY pregnant and hubby said we would wait till the next year to remove it. HA! While he was at work I pulled it all up. There was NO WAY I was going to have TWO DOBIES with carpet. (course he had to pull up all the staples, hehe) Haven't had carpeting since. ;)

Now I just have to talk him into LEATHER furniture! He STILL thinks Ruby is not ready... He may be right

I am not a fan of carpet. When we moved to this house it was full of carpeting. Before we moved in I had it all ripped out. There were beautiful hardwood floors under there in every room but the one that has carpet now. I just wanted to install wood in that room too. But nooooo....hubby wanted his carpet. Wasn't even 6 months till he was regretting that decision. Mostly because I said you want carpet you take care of it. A friend of ours owns a flooring store and we stopped by to get a remnant to put under Rumor's crate. Guess what? He was asking about installing hardwood.

You guys are so lucky. I hate carpeting too. When I moved back home I tore it all of my room and did a faux wood tile floor, but can't touch the rest since it's my mom's house, lol. I'd love to have it all out. Tooo many dogs + carpet is yuck! Especially during Winter when ya can't steam clean.

After ripping up carpet and seeing what is under it and what it looks like from the back, you'll never want carpet again. I ripped out all of ours and put down fake hardwood before Drogon arrived.

Oh a big Hell yeah to that! What a mess ripping it out! It has been years since I had any carpet to speak of and I can't think of a reason why I would ever again.

Having had ours replaced when I was younger, and doing my own, I can safely say yes to that, haha. The top can look clean, but the padding underneath? Yikes.

Hahahaha so far nothing to really report, Athena is a normal pup, busy, but hasn't even attempted to chew something she shouldn't. Ares keeps her plenty busy, when he can't it's Boo to the rescue, crazy watching a pack take in a pup lol
She's a wild child, no fear and Ares is gonna have to watch out when she's older lol she can really dish it out hahaha
The antler I bought her at the Petexpo has been great !
Now if she could just lose those needle teeth I would be happy lol ouch !!!

Hades has well and truly made this list, bloody knob head thinks he's funny or somethin'
