Naughty puppy thread - post your pics

Kris never destroyed anything as a puppy except stuffy toys. As she did not eat the stuffing, I would pick up stuffed toys at yard sales or at the share shed at the dump and let her go to it. She is four years old tomorrow and still enjoys destroying them. She was crated at night till she was three but isn't now and has never touched anything that was not hers.

Someone has a guilty face, huh?

Came down to this this morning....
Looks like Christmas has come early for someone!! Lol little shit!

Maybe he decided to make his own snow scene

Little monkey must of realised there was a hole and thought 'way hay....stuffing!'

When you think you are done and dusted with this thread you find yourself revisiting

Fortunately having so many dogs through the years, we've got a lot of those garage sale finds too. Like 4-6 bags full of "extras" put away, lol. Lots of beanie toys (she likes sucking them more than destroying), and stuffed. Tons of tennis balls too. So far she's been pretty good about not ripping the outside of ALL the tennis balls off so we can play. Also has a steady supply of large tree branches outside that are probably even her favs to play with, haha. The bigger the branch the better. She proudly walks them around the yard, lol.

Rumor almost made her debut in this thread yesterday. I took her out to potty and on our return she spotted the table cloth hanging over the side of the table. Just too irresistible for a silly pup. She grabbed the corner and off she tried to go. A quick "drop it" and she let go. Ahh.....saved by the command.
Thank God I don't use them everyday.

I saw your name here and thought, "Uh oh....here we go!" Sounds like she is very smart and knows some important stuff already (like how to stay the hell away from this thread!) Good for her!

I hope so! She is a very fast learner. I not sure she knew drop it or if she was just surprised at my quick response. Whatever, it worked.

Mila was like that. haha From the first time I brought her home, up until maybe 4 months? Did every command even before she learned them well, never caused problems. She'd sit sweetly and patiently until we gave her love. Leave the dogs and cat alone, didn't do too much. She was the sweetest thing on earth. I was like . . . darn I have an AWESOME puppy! haha And then . . . hello. :thumbsup2: I'll cross my fingers for Rumor. :D

IMG_5080.webp All I needed was 30min. of peace and quiet to take a business call so I got all 3 dogs out of the room and closed the door.
In 30min. my masterful demolition expert, 'Bogie' managed to do this. He cannot be denied access to me unless he is crated. This dog is a serious mama's boy, he has to be right next to me ALL the time.:tap:

Oh gosh. I guess I'll take Mila's howl over that then. Even five minutes of being alone in my room yesterday made her howl to the moon, haha. But at least she didn't try to eat the walls or anything else.
You are lucky!! Bacall doesn't do this wall chewing.
I give them plenty of exercise but obviously I am at a loss with his behavior.
I need to talk with his trainer when he returns from Belgium next week. I sure hope it isn't an offshoot of separation anxiety!!

Probably is. Seems like it is if that's when it happened. I remember our Shih Tzu Chewbacca (he's all black and yes, looks like a mini Wookie, lol) would go crazy when my mom left him. He still barks constantly if she takes him in the car and leaves him a moment, but now that he's older, the destruction quit in the house. (Still does it sometimes in her bedroom though, lol.) He's a huge momma's boy too. Used to take all of five seconds for him to go nuts and grab anything to tear up. Came home one holiday season to find he'd torn up the gift bags under the tree because she'd left while I was gone! lol

Have you tried to slowly get him used to you not being with him? Say leave him five minutes, come back. Then ten minutes, come back, etc? I can safely leave Mila in the bathroom if I'm fixing to brush my teeth, up to a good five minutes without the freak out. I'll be doing that with her, but I work at home so she's not really left alone much. Mila used to be so bad she'd flip out if I even walked downstairs for one minute.

When I take him with me in the car or truck he does fine when I leave him in it with AC running. He does a couple yaps then is fine until he honks the horn. He will honk the horn when he gets antsy.
He will come over to the driver's seat and turn around and his butt hits the horn. Makes for interesting conversation when I am with a client and he does this.
This boy is 'tetched' is all I can say. Lol

The trouble starts when you let your guard down cause they has been good for awhile...

I second that! haha

That is a new talent. Sounds like he's like Mila in that way though. Some occasions she's fine, others she's a stinker.

I swear their butts are there primary go to item. When playing with her, Mila loves (and I mean LOVES) to come over and place her butt right in my face, or on my knees when I kneel down. It is the funniest thing and I think half of why she does it is because she knows it makes me laugh. The other night she tried to use my chest as the seat while I was kneeling on the floor. Needless to say I am teaching her that's not okay, lol. The girl is convinced she is as small as the Shih Tzus.

Isn't that the truth. 82lbs of puppy jumping on your lap and body slamming you in the middle of the night is painful.
If I get down on all fours to look for something under the couch or bed, they think it's a game and start batting me with their huge paws!! Argh
