We are kinda getting like a mean pack of dogs now! WOOF! but it's hard to resist grrrrrr lol. It reminds me of a certain X daughter in law who said she was running an animal rescue! Well she was buying pets or getting them free from people who were trying to rehome them and then she would turn around and sell them!
I learned big time why I never liked her! But I agree Rits we should look to our better selves and play nice 
A good lesson though to be careful who we buy from

I hope not Judith! We can only hope for the best there are so many out there that should never own any kind of dog ever and it makes me so sadThey sell her for $4,500. I doubt many pet owners will pay the price. Likely she will be sold to greeders...Sad.

What I'd suspect is that she didn't personally pay to have the test done and made an assumption based on what the people she bought the bitch from told her. Here, if Tina hadn't done her own work rather than just taking Lana's word that "both parents are clear", a couple years down the line there could be even more purportedly "vWD-clear" dogs from that line testing positive as carriers or affected. If both parents are truly clear and proven to be so, it should be no longer necessary to test progeny from that line, they will also be clear. You just have to trust that other people are both being honest, that they are knowledgeable, and that the test wasn't botched somehow. That's why prudent people trust, but verify just the same.
As the saying usually attributed to Mark Twain or Will Rogers goes, "It's not what you don't know that'll hurt you, it's what you know for sure that just ain't so."
Now what I wonder is if Arabella is indeed for sale. The contact info on the Doberman Review sale listing that DV linked above looks very stale. That likely means it's not over yet and the saga could continue.

Greeders. Yeah, that's a pretty good term for ineptly-operated kennels that still reach for the top dollar.

Not for breeding kennels, but can be bred to Bismarck, eh? And what the hell is she touting Arabella's "European travel passport" for? Anyone can get one from any vet here for about $8. Jeez. And if so many people were emailing her about the dog, why would she be listing her on puppyfind? The lies never end.

unfortunately there are a lot of corrupt people that are financially sound through drug dealing and criminal activity that would pay that much in a heart beat!I hope not Judith! We can only hope for the best there are so many out there that should never own any kind of dog ever and it makes me so sad

. It's really difficult when doberman lovers try so hard to educate on how to identify a reputable breeder and doberman lovers fight so hard to keep dobes out of shelters, it seems to be a never ending battle.
