Winter

Anyone else have dogs that were addicted to fetch and being outside no matter what?

Trust me, you'll miss it someday. The boy in my avatar was always up for a snowball fight, swimming and endlessly chasing a ball. He could go forever in the cold or even the heat. I lost him a couple of months ago. We just had our first snow and he wasn't there to catch snowballs or the falling snow. I miss him and all the craziness he brought into my life. All I can say is savor it.

I am SO SORRY for your loss. I lost my 13 year old baby June 18th and still there is not hardly a day that goes by that I don’t cry at least once. Crying now....I miss her so much. I have a new puppy... her pic is my avatar. I’m bonding with her more every day but I don’t think I will EVER love one like I loved Bella. She was everything to me. This is Bella...

We live in an area that can probably get colder than many of our members but the dogs are fine as long as they're active and we limit the time they're out. I do put boots on them if it's below 0 since their feet get cold first.

Now that they're getting older they both like being covered up with a blanket inside. Della has always wanted one but Albert didn't until now.
