Transitioning older pup into home

Oh ya, I recall a member saying he named his dog Duke because he planned to have a "Duchess" one day. Was that you? Great name. It means:

A woman holding a rank equivalent to a Duke in her own right.

Works perfectly! :thumbsup2:

Haha, I couldn't resist :D

If you have the time, energy and patience and are only worried about Zoe bonding with your family, then I say- go for it!!!!

I don't think your breeder, who knows you well, would set you up. You have a lot of experience with dogs and know what you are doing. Zoe is gonna do just fine acclimating in your lifestyle.

My wife and kids just said yesterday about how we needed to get Ragnar a female companion to play with--he looks lonely in the yard by himself.

I said- no, but hell no.... at least not right now. One at a time, until I learn more.
I had to laugh when I read this, my wife said the same thing and my response was just like yours. Even though we have had dobies for 30 years we kind of forgot how they are as puppies. There are days I am exhausted working with Preacher but we know he is going to be great. Glad to hear Ragner is doing well since his surgery.

Such a stoic face.

Beautiful pup!!!

If you are still using the bridge, I would stop.

What a handsome guy and he sure has grown!
