See this following YT VIdeo short.. (Watch it in Youtube itself to get the English Dub)..
I was definitely aware of "American vs Euro" Dobies, but "Brazilian???" Is this just some guy trying to make a name for himself or are Brazilian Dobies a real thing?
The ones I’ve seen, and I don’t know if they were Brazilian per se, just South American.
They were more bulky than American but less bulky than Euros.
Black and rust, and the rust was deep and rich, like mahogany.
There was a thread here probably a decade ago
Yes they would be the South American lines and I personally think they are a nice balance between the sometimes bulky Euros and the sometimes too delicate North Americans. Both of these dogs have SA lines and Elroy definitely has that massive neck.
They say that SAs are definitely the most challenging of the three but in my experience, they just go through the teenage phase earlier and get over it earlier.
There is a fair bit of interesting history to be found on how "South American" Doberman breeding and the dogs themselves evolved in Argentina, Brazil, primarily as being influenced first under the FCI standard then intertwined and influenced with US show lines.
