Stacking is HARD!!

ok, I guess if you dont really train for it and just expect your dogs to do it... LOL! But today after my dog show, I went over to Delas (she hung out with me at the show) and I had the fancy camera, so figured hey... lets try to get some damn decent stack shots.... Well, Karma is a lost cause, for once she wasnt the photo queen... but Fate ironically enough has a pretty nice stance! (i swear she reminds me of Fedor!!) So these are the pics I thought were best (after like 50+ tries, LOL)

Karma - very square... not fond of her rear tho...

Hang on mom, lemme show Karma how to do this

Fate was nervous on the window seat, I noticed that she tends to stand on her toes too... thats not normal is it?? LOL

Then I decided to get some of the famed chesty sits too... those were a bit easier!

not bad hrd :)
they looking good, but its really funny how she stays on her toes LMAO
they both are two good looking girls ;)

Nice pictures, but This is what you do when you get together with a DCF pal? There are lots of you I would like to visit, but I never imagined hanging out stacking dogs and taking pictures...

LOL Ingrid! But ......well.....We are always talking about and posting pics of our dogs, I guess DOGS is all we'd be talking about?! :ego:

Nice shots, hrd! I guess the only thing is how to get their tails up? Don't ask me, I've never done this! lol The chest ones look perfect!

The tail is a biggy - you have to start young and play with the tail every day. Massage it, tickle it. Stay with it til she relaxes then giver her a treat. I just use the command "Tail" real imaginative I know but it is easy for me. So tail and tickle - when first starting I hold the treat at her nose and let her nibble on it while you massage the tail. Over and Over and Over and Over. They are very sensitive about attacks from behind so makes the tail hard for them unless they are a very confident dog and really know how to use their tail. I start puppies as soon as the tails are healed playing with it and getting them to relax. Her feet are more correct - much better than down on her pasterns.

oh yea, there was no getting those tails up yesterday, LOL!! Karma was NOT HAPPY at all... and Fate was freaked out being on that shelf thing (they should be happy, I put Blue on the window sill, LOL)

I got lectured yesterday by my friend who told me to stop stacking them like they were GSD! ooops!! guess rear legs were to far back, lol!

Great pictures.

No way those Girls were going to 'lift' their tails, heehee, they were not impressed with their photo shoot. :)

Nice pics and beautiful girls HRD!! I was wondering if you don't stack them like GSD's and their back legs aren't so extended if maybe they would feel a little more comfortable a maybe put those tails up for ya LOL!!

They look great hrd. The only way I can get stacked shots is to let them do it on their own and grab the camera. I think the more you ask them to pick up the tail, the more they slam it down tight to their butts.

totally! lol, and i was thinking about it.... Fates tail is so short... how did they look back when it was docking was allowed?? need to find some old stacking pics of a euro cut tail... she really doesnt have much of a tail, and... really... um... its so short, if i were to TRY and tickle the back of it, ... LOL... ummmmm yea, that would def be tickling the wrong thing, LOL YUCK!!! lol

okokok this is the first and probably the closest pic to a tail similiar to Fates.. and really... look at the stand!! c'mon now!! i dont know whose dog this, its from a survival spot website?!? but i did see the image come up a few times on diff pages...
