She knows…

I had a total knee replacement on Dec 17, and am doing really well with recovery. I had wondered if Sasha would be a little dangerous to be around, as she is go, go, go a lot of the time. Instead she just knows. When I came jome she gently sniffed my incision through my pants, and does that at least once daily. Instead of reacting negatively on e when I cried out in pain, she became quiet and pressed against me. On a couple blue days, when I was inactive, she walked with her head lowered and slept closer to my chair at times. She still shamelessly begs for tidbits, and begs my husband to play frisbee, but she has been so good. Touches my heart.

Praying for a quick recovery! Love that your girl is so intune....one of the greatest attributes of these Dobermans.

A total knee…

Mobility is everything- have to get moving. Flexion will come and is easier to get. Extension is the harder one to gain. Just make sure you do your therapy and exercises. Tbh, I would expect you are on it already.

You have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Gosh, I would be worried about the same thing with Annie! Sasha is really being a good girl! She's totally feeling your vibes! Very connected to you.❤️ I wish you well in your recovery! Keep moving! It's the key to recovery.:goodluck:

Thanks! I am so lucky to have great therapists! My extension is good. On the 3rd my knee flex was at 92% best. Shooting for 100%, but have been up and around a lot, and continued swelling is not my friend. I am not good at sitting still, and moderation is difficult.
