Seizures

Hi everyone, my name is Val and I have a 3 year old rust female Doberman name is Willow. She has Ben having seizures, so now my vet has put her on seizure medicine. This is very scary to see her go thru this. I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experience this and if so could you please give me some tips on how to manage and deal with this. Would greatly appreciate the help.

I'm so sorry to hear that... Are they full blown seizures or more like tremors? I'm guessing if your vet put her on the meds that it is seizures and thankfully I don't have any experience with that.

Is your dog on phenobarbital? Is the prescribed medicine preventing the seizures? I have experience with dogs having seizures, but I would like some more info before I give my experience. How long and how often has your dog been experiencing seizures?
