On the way home from our scent work trial we went to check out a camp site at the base of the Organ Mountain. It was about a 4 - 5 mile drive off the highway, no intentions of camping there, but thought maybe a day hike in the winter months. Pretty brutal country. Organ mountains claim to fame is the backdrop for the Wicked Witch of the West in Wizard of Oz. Too hot to do much more than walk around and take some photos.

I guess I have to give up on this. Every time I bring the cushions in because of a chance of rain, she thinks they're for her!

In over 6 years I have never seen Asha lay down on the tile floor or concrete porch. Always on a rug or a dog bed. Dirt or grass is ok, but not cold tile or concrete no matter how hot she is. Reckless lays flat out on it all the time on hot days.
