Its like Elroy has his very own velcro dog, she has to be on him. So cute and so patient. Are they huggy with their humans too? They love each other...

That's more that I've done with all of the snow on the ground yet. Yesterday morning the dogs thought they were pretty smart because they were able to walk on top of the snow until it warmed up. LOLA hike here and there is about all we've done lately,
Enjoy your stick sweetie

So sweet! Love this! Adorable photo their facesI had Katyusha out this weekend to meet up with her little growing friend, Sullie. Sullie really prefers the company of Zastava to Katyusha, but Zastava is at home under lock and key for a few weeks. Sullie's owners were happy for Katyusha's calming vibe, though. We get a lot of people who ask good questions about raising Dobermans and what they are like to live with. Katyusha had her moment when an autistic non-verbal young man wanted to meet and pet her, and she just went right along and gave him some Doberlove, but those moments aren't to be photographed, at least not by me or anyone other than his caretakers. That's awesome!! You and Riley have lots of area to walk now! Not that you didn't have it before but you know. LOLThis was 17 acres that connected property we all ready own.
If we tried to walk our property I would probably get lost. This purchase put us at 168 acres I think. We've ben buying up pieces as they become available and I kinda lost track of the total. That's awesome!! You and Riley have lots of area to walk now! Not that you didn't have it before but you know. Same here so we don't have to worry about neighbors. I think we're at least 105 now but the nearest neighbor to that is a nice guy who isn't a problem. We've been buying up pieces as they become available and I kinda lost track of the total.
This may sound strange but I actually like our neighbors. Most are homesteaders that are so helpful. We swap and barter as well as check on each other. All hard working people that know when in step in and when to step back. The best part is everyone owns large properties so it doesn't feel like they are up your a**.Same here so we don't have to worry about neighbors. I like many of ours but the 40 we bought across the road always had annoying neighbors. One of them would go away for a while and leave quite a few dogs behind that were constantly barking. I think I tried to report them (this was a long time ago) and they wouldn't do anything about it. The last guy, who we bought it from had a big automatic deer feeder by his garage and they'd sit in there at night an poach them when they came up to feed. Thankfully no more of that now. This may sound strange but I actually like our neighbors.
