Ruby's like: Thank you for getting a dog I can so easily see over.
I'm pretty sure I got a hairline fracture in one of my shins when Phoebe did that about 6 weeks ago. That said, she was partly skidding on the slippery landing but I've learned to step aside when she enters so it doesn't get reinjured. But instead she pauses and still comes running in at mach 10

Happy Birthday handsome Jasper! It was Jaspers birthday on the 17th, he is 3 already!

Practicing wait so she doesn't come running in at mach 10... But instead she pauses and still comes running in at mach 10![]()
Nothing stops them lol. If anything the more you want them to calm down the more bucking they do once released haha. Now I don’t ask him to slow down unless it’s on the icy deck and he listens perfectly, but as soon as he comes inside it’s like a bull in a China shop!I thought Asha would out-grow that flying into the house at warp speed, but she didn't. We did the sit/wait from the beginning, but the word OK doesn't come with speed limits! It took me almost a year with the prong collar, every single time. It's insane. That and holding a treat to walk her to her place. I've just never experienced a dog like this. Glad to know we're in good company...![]()
I have all tile floors throughout the house, so the entire house is like an icy deck! I had scattered rugs for when she was a puppy, but those are gone now.I don’t ask him to slow down unless it’s on the icy deck and he listens perfectly, but as soon as he comes inside it’s like a bull in a China shop!
What is it with these guys and their grip. I know speed is a factor but he slips around so much I haven’t been able to get rid of the rugs. Of course the rugs also get kicked up when he broncos through the houseI have all tile floors throughout the house, so the entire house is like an icy deck! I love Jasper's eyes! Great looking!Just from todays walk. Im trying to be better about taking photos when we are outside. I am usually too focused on him and forget.

I think this is a most lovely photo. If you didn't know, you wouldn't think she is stalking, but just looking curiously.Phoebe got to stalk from inside the comfort of our home. LOL
I thought that was Della at quick glance with her collar on.Phoebe got to stalk from inside the comfort of our home. LOL

We’re already discussing what human food he can have to augment the raw supply without any risk of tummy turbulence. Carbs to the rescue lol. Bread, pasta, rice. It should extend his raw by a few more days at least. I’m never this late getting his food. Ugh, the holidays plus a cold spellTime to break out the people foodBeen there a time or two. Thankfully we always have raw on hand!

LOL tell me about it. I have to set my alarm a few minutes early so I can wiggle out with her there.I couldn't escape my bed even if I wanted to with her here.

I hope it all goes well!On today's docket for excitement during my vacation week: holter testing
How on earth can your dogs be still when you wake up? Asha will jump up and do the CPR bounce if I stir at 3:30 a.m.LOL tell me about it. I have to set my alarm a few minutes early so I can wiggle out with her there.![]()
