Aww Paige would love to hear that. I'll let her know. She's content gently laying her head on your lap, getting pets. She's always been a great dog, tagging along as a shadow. Never really needed to train her per se. She is like an old soul in that way, been around the block but she's always got that puppy spirit. Ready to play bow and zoom if you stare at her and stomp your foot.
Someone asked me today if I ever did sports with Paige like my other dogs. No, not really. She's not super biddable and she's soft. She would probably love barn hunt or lure coursing but her knees have always been bad and sketchy so I decided to save her body and mind, keeping her happy at home as champion farm dog and couch tater. A trial environment would probably stress her, even if she does like to hunt with her nose. I never would want to force her to do something like that.

We have been going for bike rides now that the weather is turning. Jasper loves it. But today he was disgusted by the rain lmao.
Also, we got a new family member. A little Kenyan Sand Boa. I wanted to get back into keeping snakes, but the boyfriend didn’t want me to get anything too big this time. So this tiny little thing will have to do. He is only about 7in long and a little thicker than a pencil. Adorable.

Wow! What a good girl! Kaiser barely rolls over as it is, nm during nail trims. He will lay flat as long as you are constantly feeding him

She lays there on her side. I started desensitizing her right away at 8 weeks when she came home. Didn't touch her nail with the dremel until 10 weeks. You would have thought she was being murdered the noises she let out!! I had to really take it slow and do one paw per session with plenty of treats and praise. Took us both, one to distract and hold the rest of her the other with the one paw and dremel. Now I can do them on my own, she will calmly lay on her side between my legs but sometimes she will nose whistle when she's had enough
. Too bad... I wait her out and have her lay there even when I'm done. Giving ear rubs then let her go once she's quiet.

Adam took Jasper for a walk to a new boat launch that was recently put in down our street. He did his best taking a photo near this memorial. Not the best angle, but its a good photo.
