It's been a while since I last posted on here. My boy Prince made 5 years old 3/23 this year. He passed away Monday morning - 4/20/26.
We were playing fetch with the frisbee and I went in to grab something inside after our session and I walked out and he colla
psed and died. I'm devastated and completely lost without him! He was my best friend.
It was tough training him during his Dobershark/Doberteen years, which we all know, but with my consistent training, I ended up the "The Best Dog Ever". Everyone loved Prince. He played well with children, other dogs and he learned every trick in the book that I could teach. They are so smart and willing to learn.
I just wanted to tell new Dobie First time owners....stay consistent with your training with your pups and make it fun. Once they mature, they are the best companion you will ever have. It's all worth it. He was my shadow and I will miss him dearly. It's so quiet in the house now and I'm having a hard time with it.
Prince had a very fun-filled and adventurous life. I am so glad that I was able to provide that for him for the short time he was here with me.
Hug your Dobies tight and give them all the love they ask for every day with their noses and cute ways.
