Was the start of a very busy 26 hours for Millie.

Was in the back yard headed towards the tool shed to clean out some junk and Millie is standing at the edge of the no Doberman zone where we have some corn growing and a few random veggies. She is staring, slight tremble and that half whine half growl frustrated noise she makes when she reeealy wants something.
So I open the gate and let her in, she's usually after a lizard.

I go in the shed and come back out to find Millie standing there with a fresh killed mouse. Good girl. That was about 4:30 Monday.
Tuesday morning, after her breakfast she is out back and I go out with coffee. I should have known she was up to something because she is usually there for the morning coffee treat ritual she learned from Rocky long ago. She has another fresh killed mouse.

I was inside several hours, she was in and out several times, and I went out back about 3:30 to find what on the side of the house? A slobbered and molested dead sparrow:wtf3:
So I get a grocery bag and collect up the dead, I'm a pro at this point. As I'm rounding the patio to deposit the bag in the trash I find another dead and slobbered up mouse? WTF?
So in the span of 23 hours she got 3 mice and a bird.
After dinner I go outback and she is trotting towards me from the yard and something is in her mouth.
"Drop it" and she does, another sparrow comes flapping wings out of her mouth, lol! She let this one live long enough for me to glove up and move him out and away from her.
Definitely a new record here of how many things can your dog kill in 24 hours.

Well she's keeping you from a mouse infestation. Olive had some sort of young bird yesterday but I got her away from it and I don't think she injured it so hopefully it got out of there. So many are just learning to fly so I wish they would stay away from the fence area.
