Michael Ellis is a rockstar in the IGP world, and has his own school site now.

This seems to me to be invaluable in person instruction for anyone wanting to become a pro trainer of big dogs as pet companions.

You can become a member and access the training videos, handouts, tools etc after, to self train.

Looks like this plus the prerequisite "Obedience Intensive"
can be accessed by the $70/mo membership option...

If you are a good at online learning its a great base...nothing like in person training but an alternative if time and $$$ is not convenient.

Scanning the topics you will note a lot of familar terms and concepts I've read about here, inc common-sense balanced approach that works for this breed.

If I were young again and fancy free this would be a tempting side gig opportunity, and

All by itself a great challenge to just be the best companion dog owner you could be, from one of the best in the biz.

Curious what experienced owners, trainers, breeders here at DCF have to say about Michael Ellis.

The first IGP trainer I worked with was a big ME fan and used a lot of his methods. The trainer in the second club also thought a lot of ME. I signed up for an online course last year, had to put it on hold for now. I think he's an excellent trainer and a good teacher as well.

I've purchased a few videos he put out in years past via Leerburg and probably watched every free video that ME had that Leerburg posted. Not sure if Leerburg still has all those free videos, most were short and sweet but always good information.

Yes Leerburg is a great resource IMHO
and YES, last I looked a year ago much of his older stuff was still free there with a goldmine of other old school wisdom.
