Introducing "Sophie" - I promised my foster daughter a pup when her adoption was finalized, which seems to be taking forever but is progressing slowly. She really wanted a small dog but fell in love with a friends Goldendoodle. So when this little sweetheart came in I couldn't pass her up. She was given as a unwanted gift, why do people give pups as gifts?? She is 3 months old and according to her owners she is suppose to be a Mini Goldendoodle. We'll see how big she gets? I'm taking guesses If you want to give it a try My guess is 40ish LBS. My kids do not know yet about her but I'll post pics of my daughter's face when I give her to Ashonte!

oh she is cute, but what is a mini goldendoodle LMAO
oh well doodle or not, she is lucky to come into your family ;)
wonder what tango will say about that little fluffy thing ;)

She is a cutie! I can't wait to see your daughters reaction either, so please post pics. :)

I agree about giving pets as gifts - what are people thinking?

As for size; I guess it would depend on if it was a toy, miniature or standard Poodle, so it could go anywhere from 25# to 75 +# when all is said and done...

At any rate, I'm so glad you gave her a great home and I'm sure your daughters will be thrilled. :D

She's adorable and such a nice idea for your daughter ! She looks like an apricot poodle! Very cute! You will have to capture Christmas morning on the video for us!

How sad people just don't think about all the responsibilties there is in a puppy, but how thankfull this fluff ball found you:) Going to be an exciting Christmas at your home......

But isn't it a mix between dolden retriever and poodle ???? so how you mix a toy poodle and a golden :o:blink:

Oh wow DF, what a cutie little girl, and I can actually answer this question as my b/f boss just paid $1800.00 for one of these, he is from a 50lb Golden Retriver mom and a 8lb Choclate mini Poodle, and he is the heaviest out of his litter at 37lbs, but he prolly won't get any bigger, so I would top her out at 35 to 40lbs, she is way too cute, I can't wait to see your daughter's face when she gets Sophie :D

she is damn cute, but i hate if people breed those "designer dogs" its not Sophies fault, i just hate, hate it...they are like my stepdaughter and her mom, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
but i know she is in the best home she could ask for now ;)

They manage (don't even get me started on designer dogs either... :cuss:) but it damn well better be that the mom is the Golden Retriever and the dad the poodle (with a step ladder) or it could downright kill the mom if she were the small one...
