Car harness

Bought a Kurgo harness for a trip coming up. The ruffland is great, but takes up a lot or cargo space. I still have to pack a wire crate for her too which is a pain.

The kurgo so far is great - working on it this week as we leave soon and are taking one car. She’ll be in the back with my kids so they can keep an eye on her… she did nibble on my seat belt when I was driving hard to watch her alone.

Anyways I think it’s a good purchase and hoping our trip goes well with her using it, I’ll report back.

She’s walked in it too and did well! Not pulling much at all. I was shocked.

Good to know since I would like to get something for Elroy too. He rides great (aside from getting car sick) but if I have to step out to get gas or check into a hotel he's all over the vehicle not wanting to be left. The crate I bring to shows won't fit upright so I have to turn it on the side so the dogs obviously can't go in there.

It’s crash tested too, Amazon fairly inexpensive.

I know so hard with the crates they’re great, but limit space in your car.

CBD does help but if he's going for any kind of health testing I'm reluctant to use it. The cardiologist did tell me that it's perfectly fine for an echo so that was good to know for future reference.

I actually got in a crash once with the entire family inside the truck including the Doberman in the back secure in her crate.

A rollover accident where we rolled many, many times before coming to a stop.

Not going to bother you with a long story but once things came to a stop the Dobergirl extricated herself from the crate and then through the back glass of the vehicle. Blew through that stuff like it was not even there and tore herself up in the process. (Vet stopped counting at 200 stitches sewing her up.

There is no way on earth I would ever crate another animal of mine in a vehicle after that.

Well, I got stuck in the back with her and my youngest haha…I’m not complaining. Car harness seems to be a success. She’s content as can be riding with us and had a lacrosse session before we got in the car.
