I LOVE how the guy 'recovered" and let the dog keep going so it could be judged. He HAD to have been surprised when that blind fell ontop of him! Amazing....great video! Can't stop watching

I can't imagine... LOL. There's sometimes a peep-hole so the helper can see when the dog starts toward his blind, but even if he did he would have been back to position before the dog hit, so he still wouldn't have known. Yeah, points to him for keeping the game going, not sure what the outcome of the exercise was. This is PSA or some kind of ring sport, not IGP, so I'm not sure what the exercise entailed.

This was a PSA level 2 search and bite. As cool as it looks, it’s not the ideal picture. Likely his strike (first bite) was 0 because he hit the blind then crawled and grabbed the decoy. No strike.
I was at this trial in the crowd. My dog Jötunn (RIP) got his PDC there and I trialed Vex for his 1 (fail).

Thanks for pointing out the facts. I assumed it was very faulty for trial reasons, but not knowledgable enough to comment on it.

Hope you & your dogs are doing well, I miss the Schutzhund/bite sports conversations here. Would love to hear what you're currently working on & photos. Your videos from years & years ago on DCF really impressed me.
