Lipoma between chest and front leg

Noted a small marble size fatty lump on Freyja’s chest. Vet checked it out and it’s a benign lipoma. He says to leave it alone, it will be fine. I know this but don’t like it. Concerned it will grow or there will be more in the future.

Any experience or suggestions from y’all??

I keep seeing this on the internet and Facebook.

Glad to hear it is benign! I am always up to try alternative things; never heard of this...did a short search on it:
a vet trial says 'safe even in high doses' mixed results
Dog cancer.com says 'unlikely that it will shrink tumor, but supports health'
and of course, AI is neutral, and says 'no evidence' that it helps.
I think I would try it if one of my kids gets one! No where did I see it is harmful.

I've been seeing that a lot too but I have no idea if it works or not.

Elroy has a small lump on his shoulder too and the vet said it's nothing to worry about and it hasn't grown at all so we aren't doing anything at this point.

Asha has one and the same place as Freyja, plus one on her side over the ribs and had two near her hock. The vet removed one that was near the moving parts of the hock when she was spayed only because he didn't want it interfering with the motion mechanics in the area. They've all stayed about the same for a couple of years now. I started a mushroom supplement (blend of 7) with no changes, but my next jar will be turkey tail only from Four Leaf Rover, which got some very good reviews.

Well then, we are gonna do a two prong study you and I because I’m fixing to order it also.

My Dobe shares the same issue of lipomas as experienced in preceding posts. Not unsightly yet they are touch noticeable during grooming. Backstory — she is 7+ and a year ago lipomas appeared after successful treatment of hypothyroidism causing onset of weight gain/fat even with adequate daily exercise. I stumbled on a holistic vet video outlining several factors at possible cause and one of which was the lymphatic system and approach to enhance its function — i.e. massage found at 13:00 +-. I have followed that routine vigorously with a silicon pronged grooming/bath brush 2 or 3 x weekly of 4 or 5 minute duration for the past year and discovered a slight decrease in size if any…..a year in and definitely no noticeable enlargement. Therefore sharing vet turned holistic-vet opinionated treatment worth the time watching IMO.
