Levi’s update

I joined this forum and posted a question about Levi, a 6 week old doberman.
Just wanted to post an update.
He will be 13 weeks on September, 8.
He weighs 26.2lbs as of today Sept, 6

If so, yes we are doing 5 days on 2 days off for the wraps.

Better take lots of photos! In just a few months he won't look like a puppy anymore! Love those black accents on his feet!

eeek. You'd be better off 24/7, change them about every 3 days, clean and let dry (leave open) for no more than and hour and post back up. Tons of reading in the Puppy section on ears & posting. Bottom line is if he sleeps on one folded under his head over night it can make a hard crease and can cause you all kinds of grief. Absolutely no reason to leave them open for 2 days at this age.

I totally agree and I know some vets advise this but it really sets them back if they're allowed to flop or crease.

He's cute! Yes, definitely want to leave his ears up in posts and change them every 3-5 days. Only leave them out for 15-20 minutes about what it takes to make new posts. You can leave them out a little longer but then its very easy to get distracted and forget, so I like to put them right back up. Allowing them to fall like the one is in his picture only sets you back and makes for a longer overall posting time until he is done...

thank you all for your replies and advices. I have started posting them 24/7 and changing them every 4-6 days.
