LOVE to hear she is 9 and doing so well....and Rubie too! Gives me so much hope for our future. I had a female who developed bone cancer at 8 years old, and the university veterinarian told me "8 years is the average in dobermans now" I hate that thought, and love to hear when they surpass that age!

I hate that thought too. Della was 11 when we lost her to arrhythmia and Albert was 10.5 when he developed DCM but even that is too soon for me.
