Haku got to meet our friends new corgi puppy last night! He did so good and played to gentle with him. The corgi was scared and shy at first but after awhile he gained his confidence and started playing with Haku. Seeing how happy Haku was with a another dog in the home made me really want a second dog aha, but that’s a no for right now.

It always feels good when doggie play dates go well. I have to admit, that corgi is adorable. Im a big dog person, but if in my life I were to get a smaller dog a corgi would be on my list. Im sure life with a corgi would be much more relaxing! Haha.

Quick, keep taking snaps before the little Corgi loses his puppy face! Calendar potential! They are so cute playing nice but don't get sucked into thinking a Corgi is a pushover. I think they can have attitude. One of the Queens Corgis killed one the the Queen mothers Corgis, and apparently they were inclined to give the odd nip to people around the palace!

LOL that last photo is priceless with both of their expressions.

Great photos lol! I love their faces. That corgi is holding its own for sure and Haku looks shocked by it all haha "listen here you little sh-"

It’s precious when dogs have a connection, because trust me a lot don’t. Just like people, some we get along with because we must, others we plain dislike, and the rare few we hit it off from the get go. I’ve met a few corgis and all were good dogs imo.

Our neighbor in our last house brought home a corgi puppy. It looked like a little bunny when it was small. And she said the breeder told her it would stay that small. I told her no. LOL It won't get huge but, they are not going to be baby bunny size! She did let it get a little fat  but it was a cute dog. Only thing is, she never did any training and that dog barked the whole time it was outside. It was such a weird bark. It just would sit there and go WOOF..... ..........WOOF.............WOOF.............WOOF. Just a monotone, single woof. On and on and on.:pullhair:

We have a few in the practice and they have a rather surly attitude. We have to use a muzzle when examining them and drawing blood with their short legs can be laborious with their squirming and attitude.
I prefer using the jugular for blood draw.

The lil Corgie will own the whole house soon enough. :spit:

They played again today:) did much better. The corgi maxwell grew a lot since. Haku still Dosent know his size lol but he’s always a very good boy when it comes to playing nicely just a big goof.
