Trying to play catch-up in pictures and updates...
Revel has been living with us full time since Feb for SD training, with me as his trainer. The training school was not cutting it. I dropped him off last June as a 7-8 month old puppy with A LOT of training already put into him plus his CGC and two titles. He had not ONCE been taken out in public while with them for his public access training between June 2023 and February 2024.
It's been a ton of work having this extra workload dropped on me while I already have 3 of my own, two of them practically puppies under the age of one with one a brand new puppy, but I had to pull him from their facility before it was too late for him as a service dog.
My dad said the difference between him from before and after I've trained him has been amazing. I'm just so thankful we trusted our gut and intervened when we did. The first time I took him out in public you could tell he wasn't worked in public at all and it was a bit overwhelming for him... But thankfully all the socializing I did with him prior to this place I think pulled through and he overcame and settled in to his job with time.
After months of work, he's doing great! He's back with my dad now in Georgia and will come back in the future for any brushing up of skills and tasks. He's been doing fantastic!!

We trained agility skills for fun to build confidence and practice distance work. He absolutely loves it and loves showing off lol
