Ear posting stopped 45 days ago, ear has a bit of flop.

Hello!
My puppy is almost 8 months old. I was very consistent with posting since we got him cropped. The crop place said keep posting till he is 6 months old to be safe but usually it should be done before that. I did go till he was 6 months.
They were in great shape but now Im seeing a little bit of flop, more like a curve.
Wondering if anyone faced this issue and if its too late to go back to posting again.

They don't look bad at all and a little more posting would straighten them up. He's definitely not too old.

I've posted 0 ears, but from what I've gleaned is that 8 months isn't too late to make a difference. I think you can start posting again and be successful. What's his name?

Good looking Doberman! I posted my girls until 9 months and then used breathe right strips for a few months after posting.

I would go back to posting like @JanS said. Then use the strips to keep the tips nice and straight.

If you ever see any flop, curl, anything looking like the ear is failing just repost!

I posted both of mine to 7.5months and then breathe rite strips for a month.

Good looking pup! As others have said, keep posting! It's very much less of a strict 'you should be done at such-and-such an age' and more dependent on your pups years to indicate when you're 'done.

However, this time around he seems more bothered by the posting than before. Not sure if its because of him getting used to not having them or something else. Just a lot of head shaking and trying to scratch the ears. A

Probably because he got used to having them out. Just make sure to get them deeply seated in the ears and use minimal tape at just the top and bottom.
