Too late to post ears?

I've been posting my 10 month old Doberman puppy, Diesel, since he was 6 months old. His previous owners had his ears cropped but did not post them properly, so I've been trying to get his ears to stand up on their own.

After several months of posting, I've noticed that his ears will stand up for a little while, but then they flop back down. Is this a sign that his ears are still developing and may eventually stand up on their own? Or is it too late at this point?

I want to do what's best for Diesel, so any advice from fellow Doberman owners would be greatly appreciated. Should I keep posting his ears, or is there another option I should consider at this stage?

They're looking nice so keep posting. At 10 months you still have plenty of time and I've seen some have to be posted until they're well over a year old. They key is to get new posts back in as soon as you can, or in other words, before they have a chance to flop.
