Duke was so easy to photo, her on the other hand she wants to bite anything that moves shoes,ankles, socks ,shoe strings, your fingers when you go to stop her, heck I do good to get her off my ankle long enough for a pic at all lol

You have no idea , I was worried at first, duke was some what standoff ish, and wouldn’t really interact or be around her, now there inseparable lol

I have the crazy idea of possibly getting a red female in the far future, them accepting each other and bonding would be my greatest worry.

@Ddski5 i had the same worry, especially with them both being fairly dominant. They actually fit each other very well she’s extremely playful and mouthy and he joins right in with the nonsense. In getting the two it has been a slight training curve but it is actually working well I can place and stay duke while I train with her and then release him to join after a few and then start over plus she is mimicking his actions when she’s free running and I’m training with him. They run each other down the toy in my lap ratio had come way down since he plays with her so much now lol I love it I supervise and join when I’m ready. My only suggestion would be wait until your boy is under control and listening fairly good I couldn’t imagine trying to work her with him there and not listening, something I did think about but didn’t realize just how imporatant it was over all other things,I got lucky and duke actually has shown me a new level of control since she’s been home that I didn’t think he had yet.

Saw a beautiful red female in Petco last week. Jeesh, she pretty and well behaved.

You are gonna be one to follow and hear stories from for sure.

How adorable is that!? Looks like they are a perfect match. I think a male and a female are the best match and should get along just fine. It's so cute how the younger ones snuggle up to the older ones. You'll have a lot of fun with them! Congrats!

I remember before Rumor came home worrying about how she would get along with Drake. He got used to being King pretty quick after we lost Greta. Wasn't sure if he would be willing to share the throne.
I was never more wrong in my life. It was love at first sight with those 2.
You'll have lots of fun watching them together. Duke will show her the ropes and she'll learn a lot from him.
I would recommend lots of time with them separated. You don't want her bonding with him more than you.

Thank you to everyone they are a real blast and a handful at times. Stroller pics are coming soon as are the outfits lol. I’ve gotta get her to calm down first tho right now her drive is in control and her brain just follows orders (training can’t come fast enough)

Aww what adorable photos! When we had Boris it was love at first sight when Della came home.
When Albert came home after Della was 2 she was pretty stand offish at first so I had to keep them separated for a day or two and let them play through the gate. When we did let them together it was a bond I'll never forget and Della turned right into his mommy figure and guarded his every movement. I'm not sure why she wasn't happy the first day but the only thing I can figure was that after we lost Boris, she was a little put off that this youngster came into the household.
