Last night Game 1 Stanley Cup Finals between the St Louis Blues and Boston Bruins.
The game started so hard and viscous that the one commentator made the comment of when the ref dropped the puck it was like dropping a tennis ball down to ten Dobermans.
My whole family looked at me and then looked at the tv and I said, “Damn, that was cool!!”

We went with some friends to a watch party to see the game. I took Rue along because I thought it would be good for her training. You should have seen the looks Rumor got from the packed house.
Okay, standing here flipping around the channels after doing dishes and I see a Doberman on a TV show that looks to be from the 70s. A woman has a Doberman in front of her. The Dobe disappears. Turns out it was an episode of The Twilight Zone. The woman apparently was abused by her man and she was able to conjure a Doberman to defend her (guy had a bandaged arm and blood on his shirt). As she went to drive away the following day, and leave her abusive man, he said he would follow her. She said "No you won't!" and the Doberman appeared next to her in the cab of the truck, barking, then disappeared. Too bad for abuser, his victim can make a protective Doberman appear when needed.
Part of the treasures available over the air on antenna TV, these are a couple pics of a segment of Just For Laughs – Gags:
Unwitting participants in the show first encountered a Doberman on the other side of a glass door. The Dobe did not do anything but sit there, but it was enough to turn back all the people participating. When questioned, they proclaimed the reason for their stymying. Brought back to the door to explain, the dog that was then guarding the door was, well, the second dog pictured here.
I was at a hotel for a week and came across the movie Upside with one of my favorite comedians Kevin Hart (he owns a doberman) and in this movie he paints this picture. His boss ends up selling it as “new age art” for $50k. Good movie - I liked that he snuck in a doberman (that was the only dobie part). I had a good laugh.
