Hmmm...weren't we talking about EBVs not long ago?

Mebbe it was someone asking on another dobe forum,
or the german-shepard forum where I got some useful confirm about how Guide Dogs Inc has used them for years...and maybe CC is in collab with Duke on better breeding...hmmm!

Pretty kewl if these existing tools;
BetterBred and UCDavis similar test for best pairing...
Can be applied by the retail level breeder if the database is collected...and so it has...to be expanded...

Maybe some folk here might like to help...
for the betterment of the breed...
its easy to submit dna, free I expect...

I wouldn't disagree. They cluster very closely, very similar genetics. I would consider GS like a coated Doberman.

Thank you! So Loreths supposition about short hair gene is dominant over recessive long...

If one where to cross a GS x Dobe, you could end up with a taller more GS like dog with shorter hair...no grooming required!
