Awww, who's a good dog! She's a beauty and I think GSDs make great mobility dogs., as well as all around family companion and guardian. There are many more trainers esp former military handlers working as talented trainers, familiar in the breed.
Guide Dogs for the Blind has been the leader in assistance dogs for 75 years and worked with mostly shepherds in beginning iirc.
Please keep us posted with progress by both in training, and thanks again. Its quite the challenge to Owner DIY a SD but quite do-able esp with help training the two legged....
