Saturday afternoon I found this poor guy on my deck. I told my husband about it and he said, I guess I cleaned the windows too good! I said yes, that is kind of a coincidence, isn't it? He just cleaned some of the windows on that side including the three pane sliding door. Sometimes I wonder if the birds think they can fly through because in that room on the opposite side is another large pane of windows . Maybe they can see that and think they can get to the other side through the window. Every year there's at least one or two that hit the window . But a lot of them make it . This is the first Dead one I found in a while.

That happens a lot here too. Most make it after being stunned for quite a while but a few don't. I have to watch if they hit on the north side of the house since if I let the dogs out, Olive will crunch them right down.
I do have a few of those window clings that are only visible to the birds from outside but hubby doesn't like me to use them.

I use this stuff you just dot on the window. Humans can't really see it but birds do. It stopped them immediately from crashing into my windows.
It comes in a bottle like a bingo dabber and I can't remember the name to save my life. I think it's downstairs. I'll grab it the next time I go down there and let you know the name.

Just wondering why. Does he know something we should? I use the dabber stuff and it works well. You just dab rows on your window and it has worked well for me.

He's just picky like that and doesn't want to clean the windows around them.
